Our Boats
WWU Sailing owns 18 FJs, all of which are housed at Lakewood Watersports Facility. Our 12 race FJs are Kaze, Tuuli, Bang-a-rang (Bang), Slick Princess (SP), Viento, Darth, Three Old Goats, Pís II, Cady, Speedy McGhee, gNAR, and Kona.

1990s-2010s
Our newest additions to the fleet, 6 boats from UHawaii, were added thanks to help from UHawaii sailing team and Aloha Marine Lines shipping company. These boats are Vangaurd and Laser Performance FJs from 2005-2008, meaning they are similar to our 9 oldest boats, helping make a complete and cohesive fleet. This rounds out our boats to 18 FJs!
In 2019, the team purchased 3 Whitecap Composite FJs. These are our newest boats in terms of age!
Many of our older boats were bout one or two at a time, thanks to the help of our alumni! Our older boats range from 1979 to 2008, and are Vangaurd and Laser Performance built.
